Remember that time when I flew in on a red-eye from Puerto Rico for an audition? Only to discover it was basically an open call and to get cut 30 minutes after I got there....yeah.

Hi Nailah!! My name is Jessie and I'm also a twenty something dancer, just trying to make it in LA. Though our experiences are different (what we are auditioning for), they are also very much the same. I was brought here by a fellow member of Answers4Dancers that found your blog inspiring. I just wanted to let you know that you are brave for sharing your experiences and it's humbling and inspiring to know that we are not alone in this crazy/thrilling industry.
